This place is amazing. I had a neighbor tell me about it and just checked it out. I booked a private climb with Hanna for my two kids. She was amazing - very encouraging with the kids and had a lot of technical insights for them when they needed help. My kids like it so much we booked another round the next day with Hanna. In addition to Hanna's expertise, the place has a great vibe too. Highly recommend!

This location of Movement is great. Just off Rockville pike, it's very easy to get to, and their bouldering area is perfect for when you're in town for the holidays. Lots of room to climb on a busy day, and they do a great job of changing out the sets to keep the area fresh.

I love Movement, this is my home climbing gym. The membership can be pretty expensive, but it comes with a one time 20% off purchases from the store, multiple guest passes, and access to their workout gym and classes (yoga, skill classes for climbing). They have lots of routes available (both toprope and bouldering). As a heads up, it can get really busy later in the day, and the parking lot can get full so you may need to do street parking.

Big fan of this rock gym! I'm very new to climbing, but they provide members with several free guest passes per year, so I was able to go for free with some friends (included chalk, shoes, and harness). They have lots of top-rope and bouldering walls, classes for learners of different skill levels, and even a gym with weights, machines, and yoga. They do have parking out back, but it can get a bit crowded, so you may need to park on a side street. Even though I'm a beginner, they had plenty to do for someone of my skill level (and those who are much more advanced), so this is a fun place to go for any climber!
